The Bay City Housing Commission (BCHC) is seeking responses to its Request For Qualifications (RFQ) from qualified Development Partners to facilitate the development of affordable housing in Bay City Michigan. It is anticipated that the development would be completed through the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Rental Assistance Demonstration (“RAD”) Program and other programs such as HUD’s Section 18: Demo/Dispo. Project financing would be a combination of investor equity from the sale of low-income housing tax credits (LIHTCs) from the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA), conventional or FHA mortgages, grants and equity.
